Meet the Doctor

Dr. Frank Segreto, Chiropractor

Dr. Segreto has practiced here in Toms River since 1989, and has had the pleasure of helping so many people in our community over the years. He has lived in this area for most of his life, and is a 1980 honors graduate from St. Joseph High School (now Donovan Catholic). In 1984, he graduated from Villanova University, where he played on the hockey team for four years. In 1987, he graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, S.C. While at Sherman, he was the winner of the Scallon Service and Dedication Scholarship, and he also found time to play on the school rugby team.

Dr. Segreto holds the distinction of becoming the first doctor in New Jersey to become certified in Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) (http://www.netmindbody.com), as well as becoming the first doctor worldwide to earn Level III certification (aside from NET instructors).  Dr. Scott Walker and Dr. Deb Walker named Dr. Segreto the 2022 NET Doctor of the Year, chosen from all NET doctors worldwide.

In addition to NET, Dr. Segreto has completed advanced training in Body Restoration Technique (BRT), and Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET).  He also received his training in Chiropractic Biophysics over thirty years ago.  This combination of treatment methods gives Dr. Segreto the unique distinction of being the only doctor in New Jersey with training in these four highly specialized techniques.

Dr. Segreto prides himself in using the latest techniques to help his patients and he treats every patient based on their individual needs. He is very aware of the fact that people are tired of being treated like a number, and he makes sure that each and every person receives the individualized care that they deserve. There is no “one treatment fits all” approach, but instead he uses his years of experience and a combination of all his treatment techniques for the ultimate good of his patients.

Dr. Segreto is also a past president of the O.N.E. Research Foundation board of directors, whose mission is to provide research to advance mind-body healthcare.  O.N.E. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making these natural methods available to all as the standard of care, and to continue to direct research to demonstrate the validity and benefits of NET  (http://www.onefoundation.org).

In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Segreto was also the founder and head coach of the varsity ice hockey team at Donovan Catholic High School from 2000 until his retirement from coaching in 2009.  He was named Ocean County Coach of the Year in 2005, and Shore Conference Coach of the Year in 2007.  He is married, with two boys.
